neurodiversity-affirmingNeurodiversity describes the population as a whole and recognises the diversity of different brains. Neurotypical describes most of the population the majority group that expresses themselves in ways that are seen as the societal “norm”. Neurodivergent describes the minority group that diverts neurologically from said “norm”.
,
anti-ableist practiceAnti-ableism is a term that describes strategies, theories, actions, and practices designed to challenge and counteract ableism, which is discrimination and prejudice against people with disabilities. It’s about recognizing and dismantling the systemic biases and prejudices that devalue individuals based on their disability.

We believe in valuing, listening to, and learning from lived experience, ensuring our approach is both evidence-based and deeply person-centred. We strive to provide a service that truly makes a difference.

What Our Clients Say

IMG
Noor

We met Abi when our son was young and had a lot of communication issues. Abi’s diligence, perseverance and professionalism meant that three years later he is a confident, happy and very chatty six year old. Who has gained a lot more confidence in his abilities. As with any therapy we had ups and downs but Abi never stopped and always had an end goal and how we all had to work together to achieve it. We are very grateful!
